An F4J spokesman revealed: “We understand that a desperate father belonging to Fathers4Justice has attempted to write the word ‘help’ on a portrait of the Queen in Westminster Abbey at lunchtime.

“The father is dad of two Tim Haries from Doncaster who was trying to petition the Queen for help before Father’s Day on Sunday.”

F4J Campaign Director Jolly Stanesby added: “Up to 4 million children will be without a father this Father’s Day.

“Tim Haries has lost all contact with his children.

“He felt he had nothing to lose by appealing directly to the Queen for help by spraying his plea onto her portrait.”

Support for Tims actions was flooding into online forums as the story hit the mainstream news and the censored issue of fathers rights and state child abuse was forced into public view.

Tim struck out on his own but the membership of F4J – who for the first time on Wednesday gave a presentation to Parliament on the abolition of the ‘family courts’ – backed his actions.

Kevin Crace posted: “I support this action a hundred per-cent’.

“Anyone that condemns his behaviour is utter pond life scum, like the people that have systematically abused his children by allowing them to be forcefully removed from his life.

Father Daniel Webb expressed his support and recounted a typically Orwellian tale of the state criminalising him for wanting to see his children.

He posted: “Fair play: we need to make a stand and get better laws so we get a fair chance.

“I got a call at my home from a ‘domestic violence’ group this morning: apparently I have 7 DV incidents against my name in the last six months.

“Strange as I have not seen my ex partner in that time. When I called the police a Detective Inspector who wouldn’t give his name or badge number said the non-existent incidents had been logged against me because ‘You fit the criteria!

“I have had enough of the way I am treated just because my ex doesn’t want me to see my kids! This is nearly ruining my life.”

Around 45,000 folk have joined up to a mickey-take opposition ‘EDL’ – the English Disco Lovers.

Here they are doing their thing in the street in Newcastle.

Armed only with Nile Rodgers lush lead guitar and orchestration, Bernard Edwards extraordinary bass control and a series of bright sparkling wigs, the disco demonstrators will be back tomorrow (June 1st), when far right groups embark on a big demonstration.

The demo’s been called not by the EDL, a relatively complex new right group, but by the overtly sinister BNP.

A spokeswoman explained: “The BNP has called a national demonstration, to take place on Saturday 1st June, in Woolwich.

“We intend to attend a peaceful show of unity, which will include multiple faith groups and members of the local community.

“Anyone who can come along please bring your finest disco gear! We are also looking for a portable sound system for the event.”

Britain’s hated CSA have driven yet another father to his death

35-year-old hairdresser Simon Pritchard hanged himself five days after the birth of his twin girls – because his ex was already demanding CSA money

The successful Salon owner, of Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, was found dead at home by his mother Gillian, 67, and two friends.

The hairdresser’s pals told the court he felt under financial pressure to provide child maintenance money, and was working around-the-clock.

His friend of 20 years, Paul Lewis, who found his body at his home, said: ‘I was concerned there were issues with his girlfriend at the time putting pressure on him for child maintenance money.

‘In a conversation we had about a year before, he said he was having a tough time. He said he considered doing it [suicide] but the thought of his mum stopped him.’

The inquest last Friday was told the couple had been suffering relationship problems since 2011.

Birmingham deputy coroner Sarah Ormond-Walshe called the case ‘phenomenally tragic’ and recorded a verdict of suicide for his death in May last year.

She told the inquest: ‘His friends and family are clearly very loving and he had a wide circle of friends who were worried about him. There really are no words to express how sad this case is.’

The name of the woman who drove him to his death was for no good legal or moral reason of any kind censored at the inquest.

If anyone knows it, and can prove it’s her, we’ll publish. She’s responsible for the death and everyone in her local community will know who she is anyway.

The mother did not attend the hearing.

Mr Pritchard had set up the Love hair salon in Sutton Coldfield just six months before taking his own life.

Judges in Belgium made the landmark ruling ordering officials in the UK’s tyrannical secret law courts to give former NATO security contractor Nigel Coopers daughter back to him.

‘Social Services’, the notorious branch of the infamous courts whose staff physically carry out child abductions, have as yet refused.

The scandal cements Britains growing international reputation as a routine violator of Article 8 of the UN Convention on Human Rights, the ‘right to a family life’ and will strengthen calls for the abolition of the hated ‘family division’.

Mr Cooper served in the Royal Navy for 20 years. He lost his child after her drunken and drug-addicted mother took her away to Sunderland.

Feminist zealots in the Social Services department of the local council kidnapped the girl after targeting the vulnerable mother. Just as with the Baby P scandal, they refused to acknowledge the existence of the childs natural father.

42 year old decorated seaman Mr Cooper has been forced to pursue his own case through court in Belgium after a bent British judge banned him from talking about the abduction of his child in the UK.

The father of one says since going public he’s has been contacted by ‘thousands’ of British parents whose children have been taken by the adoption and fostering industries.

The remarkable ruling he’s been awarded by a court in Belgium demands the child return to her father and that the British state effectively pay compensation for the ordeal they have put the young girl through.

This is a common call from civil rights protestors, who seek first abolition of the secret state, then for its worst offenders to be jailed for their crimes, and compensation issued from their ill gotten gains.

In a 32 minute video the father of one has recorded and sent live on the internet he asks other victims of the secretive and unnaccountable Social Services to expose individual social workers, and challenge the authority of Lord Matthew Thorpe, the head of the hated famlily division.

Like most officials of the so-called ‘family division’, Lord Thorpe is a sociopathic bigot, whose day job breaking up families is relieved only by his failure to be a good parent himself .

A top South West hospital is facing a lawsuit from ten families who say they caused death or injury to their baby children.

Seven of the families lost children, while three youngsters survived.

In some shocking cases nurses are accused of switching off or turning down alarms – put there to warn them that children’s conditions were deteriorating.

The parents have brought their action against the University Hospitals Bristol Foundation trust.

It’s a landmark case: the parents want an admission of wrongdoing. If a case goes in their favour it will open the way for compensation for those who face looking after the surviving children who were damaged by treatment.

Many of the claims centre around low staffing at ward level, and bad nursing.

One suit mentions that there were so few nurses caring for children who had undergone heart surgery that nurses administered medication, monitored oxygen levels and even cleaned up vomit themselves.

The legal case is the latest to hit the NHS and comes in the wake of the damning report into Stafford Hospital, where up to 1,200 patients died needlessly and hundreds more suffered appalling care.

* Luke Jenkins, 7, who died of a cardiac arrest within a week of heart surgery last April after hospital staff failed to recognise that he was deteriorating. His parents say they witnessed nurses “resetting” alarms which indicated his condition was deteriorating.

* Sean Turner, 4, died of a brain haemorrhage last March after staff did not identify that his condition was worsening. All around the ward, alarms were left unanswered, his parents said.

* Maisie Waters, just one week old when she died last August, after a nurse accidentally fed her a day’s worth of food in just one hour, using an infusion machine.

* Oscar Willcox, died aged 9 weeks last April. His mother said his death followed a catalogue of failings, with nurses failing to clean up his vomit or change his nappies while he was dangerously ill.

* Jack Casey, left with brain damage, causing developmental problems, since complications following surgery in 2010, aged just 10 months, and a subsequent procedure in which his lung lining was pierced.

Bereaved parents said they had been left devastated after their children’s deaths, which they say followed a catalogue of failings and severe neglect.

Luke’s father, Stephen Jenkins, 31, from Cardiff, said he and his partner were left “screaming and shouting for help” because they could see their child was dying, yet nurses refused to listen, and failed to call senior doctors.

Although monitoring alarms were repeatedly sounding, warning that the child’s condition was worsening, nurses reset the alarms to a lower threshold, so they were less likely to go off, he said.

Laywers will accuse the trust of negligence in the post-operative care given to children, and in some cases in the surgery they received. They will say that without the failings, such as missing clear signs of deterioration, the children who died could have survived, while others might have suffered less extensive damage.

The trust has already admitted that failures to detect the worsening condition of Sean and Luke may have contributed to their deaths.

The cases, which occurred between 2008 and last autumn, will also deepen concerns about failings in NHS systems of regulation.

The legal actions come after the trust was censured by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), after an inspection found that too many children were receiving unsafe care and treatment, because there were not enough nurses to care for those recovering from surgery.

That visit only took place after regulators were repeatedly contacted by the bereaved parents of Sean Turner and Luke Jenkins, who expressed their fears that more children would die, if action was not taken.

CQC then issued a warning notice in October which said that staffing levels were unsafe on the cardiac ward for children who had undergone surgery.

Seven weeks later, it declared the hospital “compliant” with its standards. In fact the hospital only achieved this by reducing the number of patients it would accept for heart surgery, so that there are fewer children for nurses to care for.

Experts said the move by the hospital was a desperate measure, which could ultimately increase the risks to children treated at the cardiac unit as surgeons are supposed to carry out hundreds of procedures each year, in order to maintain their skills.

The cases are disclosed the day before a judicial review attempts to halt changes to children’s heart surgery, which were proposed to improve the safety of all of England’s 10 units.

The recommendation to centralise hospitals, so that ensure all centres had enough surgeons carrying out high numbers of specialist procedures, followed a public inquiry into dozens of baby deaths in Bristol during the 1990s.

Most of the cases disclosed today occurred at the cardiac unit of Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

The hospital was opened in 2001 after the children’s cardiac unit based in the Bristol Royal Infirmary was closed, having been dubbed “the killing fields” after the deaths, which followed botched operations by surgeons.

Lawyers acting for the families say children are being put at risk because successive Governments have failed to act on the recommendation, which was made by Prof Sir Ian Kennedy in 2001. Twelve years on, a decision on which units should close has yet to be taken.

Plans were finally drawn up last July to close specialist cardiac children’s services in Leeds, Leicester and from Royal Brompton Hospital, and to expand the seven remaining units, including Bristol, so that each performs at least 400 procedures a year.

Even before its surgery programme was scaled back, Bristol was among four units carrying out less than 280 operations a year. Last night, the trust refused to say how many operations it is now carrying out.

After arguments between hospital trusts fighting to keep their services, and pressure from local MPs and campaign groups, ministers have referred the decision to an independent panel, which reports next month.

Laurence Vick, from legal firm Michelmores, who is representing nine of the families has written to the panel, urging them to carry out an analysis of detailed mortality data from all the units, to ensure a fair decision.

Mr Vick, who acted for dozens of those bereaved by the 1990s Bristol babies scandal said: “We have waited far too long already for this. We need a fair decision so that the safety of all units can be improved, instead of being endlesssly open to challenge.”

However, before that, a judicial review from a campaign group fighting to save services at Leeds Teaching Hospitals trust will tomorrow argue that the process to decide which units close has been flawed. If it succeeds, the process could be forced to start again. Royal Brompton Hospital in London has already failed in its arguments against the decision.

The trust said data showed that between 2000 and 2008, the trust’s mortality were the third best of 11 units which were then in operation.

Robert Woolley, the trust’s chief executive, said the latest mortality figures, covering the three years up to 2010, showed a 1.6 per cent mortality rate for children below the age of one, and 1 per cent among older children, but that unaudited figures since then were not yet available.

He said. “All paediatric cardiac surgery carries with it significant risk and these risks are explained to parents. Despite these risks and the complex needs of the children we care for, we have results among the best in England.”

The trust said it could not comment on cases which had yet to go to an inquest, but apologised for the death of Maisie Waters. A spokesman said the trust had taken every possible step to minimise the chance of a similar human error occurring.

Today the world struggles to answer one question about Adam Lanza’s killing spree: Why?

As with many easy questions deliberately confused by the establishment, the answer could be in simple and in plain view.

‘Radical Feminism’ is the perverse post-feminist, neo-Marxist philosophy that encourages and nurtures selfish, low empathy behaviour in its followers, and has become a key tool in turning nominally democratic, independent Western countries into illiberal, totalitarian enclaves who terrorise anyone who contests their authority by exerting the force of the state into their personal lives. The fallout from this anti-intellectual nonsense, similar to the racist Eugenics theories that came out of California at the turn of the Century – in both its absurdity, its danger, and its cachet and almost universal popularity – must be brought to account for its role in vulnerable Adam Lanza’s home life, and in the subsequent tragedy at Sandy Hook school in which 20 children and 7 adults died – not guns, not lack of ‘support’ or ‘care’, and definitely not ‘evil’ DNA

Adam Lanza, by even official reports, went from being relatively happy, highly intelligent, and a little insular to actively psychopathic after his mother split from his father, an act which, according to the prejudiced precepts of the state-backed radical feminist agenda, resulted not in an equal or fair seperation, but in the father being thrown out of the family home, and out of regular, normal contact with his sensitive child.

The elephant in the room of the Lanza killings is that Adam’s first terrible act was to shoot dead his mother – yet no-one seems to want to ask why.

His clearly painful life and the extremes it drove him to represent the thin edge of a wedge rammed deep into the guts of modern society by self-centred ideological maniacs.

Radical feminism’s greatest end-result has been the explosion of fatherless children in the US and UK. The sole benificiaries have been state-capitalist corporations, who have milked double the number of consumers, and the raw bureaucratic state itself, which, as whistleblowers in the US have been telling anyone who will listen for many years, deliberately robs and increasingly imprisons fathers for its own profit.

There is a an appalling, almost sociopathic, and certainly dysfunctional lack of empathy with these men, who suicide each year within the Anglo-American, radical feminist run jurisdictions, in greater and greater numbers.

But even if our wretchedly malleable society is incapable of mustering any human feeling for men driven to despair and death by the state, then, as yet at least, we’re incapable of simply bypassing or sloughing off any concern for the children affected by this anti-intellectual tyranny of pseudo-feminist dogma.

So it’s worth noting that outside of the extremities of mass killings, children from fatherless homes have been proven:

Five times more likely to commit suicide

15 times more likely to have behavioral disorders

10 times more likely to be convicted of rape

15 times more likely to be jailed

And 11 times more likely to exhibit violent behaviour at school

Little wonder then that men today make up virtually the entire prison population, as well as 90 percent of adolescent repeat arsonists, and 72 percent of adolescent murderers.

Yet our artificial society, sponsored and sustained by a state which rewards women for removing children from their fathers, and ruthlessly persecutes any fathers who resist, stands aloft from any blame for the myriad social ills everyone knows it is breeding.

So we beat our brows over questions to which we all know the answer.

The profiles of most school killers share common traits: depressed, angry young men with horrible self-esteem getting revenge on a world that has hurt them – diabolical, misguided attempts to forge an identity and feel power, be meaningful; an identity that usually forms based largely on one’s father. They lack the feeling of acceptance and “I have value, I’m all right” that comes first and foremost from male role models. The message is clear: healthy societies need fathers.

The lives of the victims’ parents, and everyone in Newtown, Conn., are forever altered. These are wounds that will never heal, and our hearts go out to them. In an attempt to appear proactive, lawmakers will bring forth new gun-control legislation. It is unlikely that there is any law that would have prevented this horrible act. No more so than banning Big Macs would end obesity.

They’re missing the point.

In China last week a man slashed 22 children inside a school with a knife. The same week three 13- and 14-year-olds fatally shot a 22-year-old woman near Pittsburgh because she refused to give them a cigarette. In the first case we have an alternative weapon, and in the second instance we have an illegal gun. If legislation can’t keep guns out of the hands of 13-year-olds, how do we expect it to keep us safe from drug cartels, terrorists and suicidal maniacs?

The real question is not how we keep killers away from guns – we can’t – it is how we have come to a society that can produce such callous, alienated, angry individuals with such regularity?

Guns are an all-too-simple boogeyman.

What we should be questioning is the nature of the family in post-modern America. The way to prevent murders is to stop producing murderers.

And to do that we need to be producing fathers and husbands. The solution is not an ever-growing police state, Orwellian school systems and squads of droning psychologists; it is role models – full-time dads who provide healthy self-confidence, identity and support to young men.

If we doubt the importance of a father in a developing child’s life – especially that of boys – we are not doing youth any favors.

Bo Jackson, US professional football and baseball legend, said this about growing up without a father figure.

“I had a father but I never had a dad.. Up until I was 11 I thought having a dad meant a man who came by every month and left 20 bucks. I missed out. That haunted me all the way up to pro sports. Here was Bo Jackson, all-star baseball player, football player, top of the world in my profession. But I was envious of my teammates, because they’d fly in their dad to have beers in the locker room after games. In all other aspects my teammates envied me for my athletic ability. But for a dad I would have traded all that in. Just like that.”

Mr. Jackson spoke recently about the anger he felt growing up and how it led him to fight with other children. He has dealt with his demons and become a wonderful father in his own right. But mothers deserve equal partners in child-raising, and children deserve fathers.

Let’s keep that in mind as we listen to what Ronald Reagan called the nine most terrifying words in the English language:

This week sees the launch of the Freedom of the Press Foundation

It’s a new initiative inspired by the fight against the two-year-long extra-judicial financial embargo imposed on WikiLeaks by U.S. financial giants including Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and the Bank of America.  
 
The Freedom of the Press Foundation, an initiative of Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) co-founder John Perry Barlow, former Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg, the actor John Cusack and others, will crowd-source fundraising and support for organizations or individuals under attack for publishing the truth. It aims to promote “aggressive, public-interest journalism focused on exposing mismanagement, corruption and law-breaking in government”.  
 
Over the last two years the blockade has stopped 95 per cent of contributions to WikiLeaks, running primary cash reserves down from more than a million dollars in 2010 to under a thousand dollars, as of December 2012. Only an aggressive attack against the blockade will permit WikiLeaks to continue publishing through 2013.
 
The new initiative, combined with a recent victory in Germany, means contributions to WikiLeaks now have tax-deductible status throughout the United States and Europe.  
 
Julian Assange, WikiLeaks’ publisher, said: “We’ve fought this immoral blockade for two long years. We smashed it in the courts. We smashed it in the Treasury. We smashed it in France. We smashed it in Germany. And now, with strong and generous friends who still believe in First Amendment rights, we’re going to smash it in the United States as well.”
 
The Foundation’s first ‘bundle’ will crowd-source funds for WikiLeaks, the National Security Archive, The UpTake and MuckRock News. Donors will be able to use a slider to set how much of their donation they wish each organization to receive and can donate to WikiLeaks using their credit cards. The Foundation holds 501(c) charitable status, so donations are tax-deductible in the U.S. Other courageous press organizations will be added as time goes by. It will not be possible to see by banking records what portion of a donor’s contribution, if any, goes to WikiLeaks.
 
It is admitted by Visa, MasterCard and others that the blockade is entirely as a result of WikiLeaks’ publications. In fact, the U.S. Treasury has cleared WikiLeaks and WikiLeaks has won against Visa in court, but the blockade continues.
 
John Perry Barlow, a board member of the new Foundation, says the initiative aims to achieve more than just crowd-sourced fundraising: “We hope it makes a moral argument against these sorts of actions. But it could also be the basis of a legal challenge. We now have private organizations with the ability to stifle free expression. These companies have no bill of rights that applies to their action – they only have terms of service.”
 
The WikiLeaks banking blockade showed how devastating such extra-judicial measures can be for not-for-profit investigative journalism and free press organizations. Initiatives such as the Freedom of the Press Foundation are vital to sustain a truly independent free press.  
 
In heavily redacted European Commission documents recently released by WikiLeaks, MasterCard Europe admitted that U.S. Senate Homeland Security Chairman Joseph Lieberman and Congressman Peter T. King were both directly involved in instigating the blockade.
 
As journalist Glenn Greenwald − also on the FPF board − recently wrote: “What possible political value can the internet serve, or journalism generally, if the U.S. government, outside the confines of law, is empowered − as it did here − to cripple the operating abilities of any group which meaningfully challenges its policies and exposes its wrongdoing?… That the U.S. government largely succeeded in using extra-legal and extra-judicial means to cripple an adverse journalistic outlet is a truly consequential episode: nobody, regardless of one’s views on WikiLeaks, should want any government to have that power.”  
 
But what of the chance these U.S. companies will blockade the FPF like they did WikiLeaks? “Let Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and all the rest block the independent Freedom of the Press Foundation. Let them demonstrate to the world once again who they really are,” said Mr Assange.

John McAfee is one crazy son of a bitch.

But you already know that, thanks to the ridiculous escapade that started back in November after McAfee’s neighbour was found dead, and McAfee fled into the jungles of Belize. It’s a sordid tale, with many ins, outs, and what-have-yous – one of the most spectacular displays of utter madness the technology world has ever seen.

McAfee’s absurd story actually starts much earlier, all the way back in the 1990s. So sit back, grab yourself a hit of bath salts, and come with us on a journey through John McAfee’s long, hilarious descent into madness.

1987: McAfee Associates launches
After nearly two decades working as a programmer for NASA, Univac, and Xerox, McAfee lands a job at Lockheed Martin where he begins developing anti-virus software. In 1987, he launches his own company, McAfee Associates, which becomes the world’s go-to anti-virus company.

1992: Michelangelo virus stir-up
This is when McAfee’s crazy streak first begins to reveal itself. McAfee tells the world that a virus dubbed “Michelangelo,” which had the charming feature of completely wiping the hard drive of infected computers, had made its way into as many as 5 million PCs. On March 6, McAfee said, Michelagelo would trigger a meltdown in all infected computers at once. His declaration caused a near-panic in the computer-using world, much as the Y2K D-Day scare did some eight years later. But by March 7, nothing had happened. Nothing.
McAfee was blamed for creating a false threat to sell more of his anti-virus elixir – which he did. McAfee’s anti-virus software sales reportedly “skyrocketed” that year, with more than half of the companies in the Fortune 100 having purchased McAfee software. Of course, this only furthered the theory that McAfee had just made up the whole damn thing.

1994: McAfee cashes out
The Michelangelo fiasco eventually took its toll on McAfee’s reputation within the company. By 1994, he was forced out of his own firm. He cashed out most of his stock in the company, plunking a whopping $100 million into his bank account. At 47, McAfee is massively rich, retired, and bored.

1994 to 1999: The dark years
Flush with millions of dollars in cash, McAfee purchases a 280-acre compound in Woodland Park, Colorado for $25 million. The sprawling estate includes a 10,000-square-foot mansion, two apartments, and nine guest cabins.
It was from this home base that McAfee developed one of the first Internet instant messaging and VoIP clients, PowWow, which precluded eventual winners in the space, like AOL Instant Messenger and Skype. He launched the product under a new company called Tribal Voices, a Native American-themed venture that foreshadowed McAfee’s eventual turn into a hippy-dippy yoga junkie.

1999: Goodbye, Tribal Voices. Hello, extreme sports and giant houses
Tribal Voices, though innovative, never managed to gain the mainstream appeal of competing products. And McAfee decided to sell the company in 1999 for about $17 million. He then dove head first into real estate, purchasing properties in Arizona, Hawaii, Texas, and New Mexico.
This was also the start of McAfee’s plunge into the batshit-crazy sport of aerotrekking, which involves soaring through the air on half-motorcycle-half-hang-glider contraptions called kite-planes. McAfee would later establish a group of aerotrekking enthusiasts called the Sky Gypsies. The Sky Gypsies would later prove to be one of McAfee’s various downfalls.

2000: Board the Zone Labs
Following the sale of Tribal Voices, McAfee invests in San Francisco-based cybersecurity firm Zone Labs, creator of the then-popular ZoneAlarm firewall product. McAfee also joined the Zone Labs board of directors. At this point, McAfee’s reputation, though tarnished by the whole Michelangelo debacle, is still intact enough for companies to accept his money.

2001: Yoga, yoga, yoga
In his spare time, McAfee managed to write four books on his favorite hobby, yoga. His catalog includes Into the Heart of Truth, The Secrets of the Yamas, The Fabric of Self, and Beyond the Siddhis, the latter of which takes things like telepathy, time travel, and levitation totally, totally seriously. Seriously. The next year, McAfee released two instructional yoga DVDs.

2006: Wrongful death lawsuit
By 2004, McAfee was so obsessed with aerotrekking that he spent $11.5 million on a 117-acre ranch in New Mexico, which he established as the home base of the Sky Gypsies. But his high-flying dreams came crashing down in late 2006 when his nephew, Joel Gordon Bitow, crashed one of the kite-planes into a canyon wall. Bitlow and his 61-year-old passenger Robert Gibson both died instantly. Gibson’s family then sued McAfee for $5 million, arguing that McAfee should not have allowed Bitlow to fly the aircraft because he didn’t have enough experience.

2008: McAfee moves to Belize
The Sky Gypsies tragedy reportedly led McAfee to flee to Belize to avoid the Gibson family lawsuit. Upon arriving in the Central American nation, McAfee bought the Belize Coast Guard a 27-foot-boat worth about a $1 million to help the fight against drug trafficking. He also donated about $100,000 worth of equipment to the San Pedro Town Police Department.

2009: Fortune plummets?
A New York Times report says that McAfee’s fortunes had plummeted to around $4 million thanks in large part to the crash of Lehman Brothers. But Fast Company reporter Jeff Wise, who visited McAfee in Belize, would later call the eccentric man’s finances into question, claiming that he was not living like a man who only had a mere $4 million in the bank.

2010: Drug trade
As relatively nutty as McAfee’s life had been up until this point, it wasn’t until 2010 that the fruitcake really hits the fan. As Wise reported, McAfee had begun researching a bacteria that was thought to be the next big thing in antibiotics. He purchased 22 acres in the Belize jungle to grow the necessary plants, and hired a legit researcher. Eventually, he set up Quorumex to develop the drug.

2010 (Oct.): Bath salts
Speaking of drugs, in the same year, a person with the username Stuffmonger posted to a drug discussion forum called Bluelight about attempts to purify a drug called MDVP, otherwise known as “bath salts.” Stuffmonger, according Gizmodo, was actually McAfee.
“I’m a huge fan of MDPV,” wrote Stuffmonger. “I think it’s the finest drug ever conceived, not just for the indescribable hypersexuality, but also for the smooth euphoria and mild comedown.”
McAfee later denied that he was Stuffmonger, and said he didn’t do drugs at all.
“I have a highly addictive personality,” wrote McAfee on his blog. “That’s one of the reasons I do not drink or do drugs. If I had been on MDPV, then I would still be on MDPV.”

April 30, 2012: Police raid
In the early morning hours of April 30, McAfee and his 17-year-old girlfriend “Amy” awoke to 42 police and military personnel storming his Belize compound. They announced with a bullhorn that they were looking for drugs and guns. They shot one of McAfee’s dogs, and confiscated an arsenal of firearms that included seven pump-action shotguns, 9-mm pistols, and buckets of ammunition.
McAfee says he was handcuffed and forced to sit in the sun for 14 hours “without food or water while I watched my property being destroyed and taken away.” He was arrested on charges of possessing illegal firearms – charges McAfee says were bogus.

November 9: Dogs die
On November 9, McAfee found four of his dogs dead. They had been poisoned. McAfee’s neighbor Gregory Faull had reportedly complained about the dogs’ barking, and McAfee’s loud lifestyle.

November 11: Murder
Faull was found dead in his home two days after the death of McAfee’s dogs. He had been killed with 9-mm gunshot to the back of his head. McAfee was officially a suspect, police said. Still, they did not – and have not – officially charged him with any crime. They just want to talk, John. That’s all – just a little chitchat.

November 14: McAfee, a wanted man
News that McAfee was now a suspected murder first arrived via Jeff Wise, writing for Gizmodo.The report came just days after Wise published his latest profile of McAfee, who had seemingly fallen into a pit of madness over the previous two years.
McAfee later denied that he was involved in the killing of Faull, claiming that the 52-year-old’s death was part of a government plot against him. McAfee the decided to make a run for it. He would later tell reporters that he was living in a lice-infested hellhole in the jungle.

November 17: McAfee blogs on the run
Three days later, McAfee surfaced from his hiding in the form of a blog. He took the opportunity to blast Wise, saying that he “made a life work out of smearing my character.” He also took shots at Wired’s Josh Davis. (In a later post, McAfee apologized for blasting Wise.)
McAfee continued to blog throughout his time on the lam, allowing the rest of us to follow his sordid journey, which eventually led him and his 20-year-old girlfriend Samantha to Guatemala.

December 4: Vice exposes his postion
We know McAfee went to Guatemala because some Vice Magazine reporters had joined him there, and took a picture of him with an iPhone. The photo, which was posted to Vice’s website, still contained metadata that revealed the precise location of McAfee.
McAfee initially claimed that the metadata had been intentionally altered to throw authorities off his trail. But he later admitted that he was, in fact, in Guatemala, where he was seeking asylum.

December 6: Arrested in Guatemala, blogs, has “heart attack”
But asylum he did not get. Guatemalan authorities soon arrested McAfee for entering the country illegally. Following his apprehension, McAfee suffered intense chest pains, which were initially believed to be symptoms of a heart attack. Later reports indicate that he did not suffer a heart attack, and was released from the hospital to return to jail.

December 13th: McAffee jets back to Miami.
His legal status is unsure, his blog on the lam continues to offer $25k reward toward the arrest and conviction of Gregory Faull’s killer or killers.
