POOR LITTLE LAMB!

Cornish cops have put out an urgent appeal for CCN readers to find a stolen lamb.

The one day old ram lamb was lifted from a field in Haye Road, together with a plastic container of fodder.

A police spokeswoman said: “We are appealing for information after a newborn lamb was stolen from a farm in Callington.

“The one-day old male lamb was taken from his field along with a plastic container of mineral sheep food.

“The theft happened some tim between 8pm on Sunday 1 April and 10.30am on Monday 2 April.

‘The lamb is marked with blue dye in the form of a blob with a number two sprayed either side.”

The baby animals owner Claire Pethick explained: “This lamb is far too young to be away from its mother.

“He is likely to die no matter how much milk he is fed: if anyone can help in any way please get in contact with the police”.

The number to call is police 101 and the reference number for the case is BN/12/212.

These pictures of Cornish lambs were taken by Callington girl Alison Brown.

The 31 year old voluntary worker took the beautiful pictures on her cousins smallholding near Minions. Many thanks Alison
